This morning we had the pleasure of delivering Christmas gifts and warm clothes to an African family who just arrived from the Congo. Seeing their faces light up at the sight of clean towels and cozy socks nearly brought us to our knees. Who are we to have so much??
Their beautiful dark faces, their bright white smiles, their precious salty tears...once again, we found ourselves acknowledging that true beauty lies in the very simplest of things.
Merry Christmas, sweet ones. In the midst of packages, ribbons, and bows, may you remember that JESUS is the reason we celebrate. To Him be all Glory!
